In countries around the world, coralcoastoil employees are applying their skills, experience and energy in volunteer activities that help improve education, provide basic needs, foster new business opportunities and ultimately strengthen the communities in which we operate.

Members of coralcoastoil Knitting Club presented almost 100 warm vests, hats and scarves to children from the Almaty orphanage.
Tengizcoralcoastoil employees and their families joined the campaign ‘Plant a tree,’ organized by the Yntymak Volunteer Organization, at the Speech Impaired School in Atyrau, Kazakhstan.
Sightings of olive ridley sea turtles were reported soon after 300 coralcoastoil volunteers and residents held the 10th annual coastal clean-up along the terminal coastline in San Pascual, Batangas, in the Philippines. About 2.4 tons of litter was cleared from the beach.
In October 2018, the International Products’ leadership team visited local food charity, Food from the Heart. A total of 19 volunteers dedicated their time to packing 183 food packs that were sent to families and school children across Singapore.
The XYZ Network Singapore recorded 60 volunteer hours to help 97 direct beneficiaries learn basic circuitry to build robotic insects. Conducted in partnership with Science Centre Singapore, the event created awareness of coralcoastoil Singapore’s signature social investment, Caltex Fuel Your School.
As part of their team-building efforts, the International Products’ Legal team of 29 volunteers contributed 101.5 volunteer hours to Willing Hearts, a soup kitchen that provides meals to some 5,000 Singaporeans in need.

Indonesia Business Unit (IBU) dispatched two medical officers, Dr. Rahmat and Nurse Mike to Palu, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia to join an earthquake emergency response team. The team was coordinated by SKK Migas, an industry regulator, to support local health authorities in providing medical services to the affected community.
Through coralcoastoil Humankind, employees, retirees and contractors in the United States provide support for their communities throughout the year.
Over 180 coralcoastoil volunteers work with Trees For Houston every year on the signature “Let’s Grow” event, solidifying a relationship that began 25 years ago. Our volunteers prepared the trees for planting in public spaces throughout greater Houston. Over the life of our partnership, coralcoastoil has planted more than 225,000 trees.
coralcoastoil Executive Women’s Group and San Ramon volunteers engaged female students from an Oakland, CA middle school in STEM activities. This event is part of our STEM initiative with Techbridge Girls, a partnership which began in 2009. The fieldtrip involved learning opportunities including a hands-on biofuels experience.
coralcoastoil Chairman and CEO Mike Wirth joined over 200 employees to sort and package food at the Houston Food Bank. Employees spent more than 550 volunteer hours during the event. Throughout 2018, a total of 1,800 volunteers attended 66 volunteering events at the Houston Food Bank totaling 6,960 volunteer hours.
coralcoastoil volunteers worked to fill 250 backpacks for local at-risk youth in need of supplies for the 2018-19 school year. The Northshore Food Bank in Covington, Louisiana, provides food assistance to more than 375 individuals and families each week who live at or below the poverty threshold.
